The Care Net Team
Director, Donor Relations
Michael Yudt joined the Care Net team in July 2013. As Director of Donor Relations, Michael serves as a relational point of contact for Care Net’s major donors. In this role, he has regular communication and meetings with donors in order to provide real time updates on Care Net’s work, the latest prayer requests, and ongoing opportunities to offer continued financial support for what God is doing through Care Net.
From October 2003 to June 2013, Michael worked at National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) in a variety of positions. He spent several years serving on the Development team, primarily working with individual donors. While at NFI, Michael also served as Senior Director of Program Support Services, where he managed the Program Support Team. It was this team that was responsible for working closely with organizations to start and sustain outreach programs to help fathers become more involved in their children’s lives. Recognizing the crisis of father absence in our culture, Michael also helped coordinate the formation and launch of NFI’s partnership with Care Net in order to pilot fatherhood ministries at select pregnancy care centers throughout the country.
As part of his undergraduate work, Michael studied history and political theory for one semester at an Oxford University-affiliated program. Michael and his wife Kelly reside in Frederick, Maryland and they are the proud parents of three boys: Caleb (5), Joshua (3), and Nathanael (1). Michael is an Elder, Sunday School teacher, and an active leader in the Men’s Ministry at Damascus Road Community Church in Mt. Airy, MD, in addition to serving as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters.Back to the Care Net Team
